NVLSP Releases 2025 Report on Pro Bono Program: Lawyers Serving Warriors®
New Record of Over 129,000 Pro Bono Hours Donated

ARLINGTON, VA – The National Veterans Legal Services Program (NVLSP) today released the 2025 Report on its Pro Bono Program: Lawyers Serving Warriors® (LSW). The Report highlights the commitment and life-changing work of NVLSP’s pro bono partners at law firms and corporate legal departments. In 2025, NVLSP’s pro bono partners donated over 129,000 hours in pro bono time to veterans, with an approximate value of over $125 million. In 2025, NVLSP’s pro bono partners reached a new pinnacle of cases placed, accepting 659 full-scope direct veteran representation matters (169 more placements than 2023) and staffing 24 LSW legal clinics. This surpasses 2024, when we set a record with 630 placements. We also reached a major milestone in 2025 with 2,160 brief services, limited scope reviews, and project placements, compared to 1,463 in 2024.
